The 40 Year-Old Virgin, 2005
Judd Apatow has emerged one of the top comedy makers this decade. His first movie the 40 Year-Old Virgin, is a big, goofy, hilarious mess that has made its place into the hearts of movie fans. Before you think it’s a science fiction documentary. Let’s focus on the plot of Wall-E for a second; lonely boy meets girl, falls in love and travels everywhere in the universe to be with her. It’s a romantic comedy with space. Of course you should know that both the boy and girl are robots. There’s no dialog and its animated. When Wall-E (the lonely boy) and Eve (the girl) dance together amongst the stars, you witness a comedy with an element of romance in it.

The Hangover, 2009
Hangover was a low budget movie made with four actors who were not so well known. However, after release this movie grossed USD 275 million at domestic box office and now is considered as a cult comedy. Let’s not see just the numbers, “The Hangover” had no built in audience, no stars, no ride to associate with it, no comic book adaption, no fancy actresses. It just had a funny storyline and some solid actors which puts this movies at #1 spot of the top comedy movies of the decade list.
